Dear Anyone, Hi, my name is Addison.
Last Friday I drove 1 hour to L.A. to see the taping of the friends season finale (part 2 the last episode of season 6 ever).
I was there from 2:30pm-7:00pm or so.
If you would like to know what happens e-mail me and i would love to tell you!
I have a question. Will there by anymore Friends? The season finaly DID NOT leave you hanging AT all.
Or you can wait till May, 18th.

You're about two days late. Full summary of the finale (2nd part) was posted two days ago.
BTW, I went to the taping, as well. Notice me not shouting.

In other words, it's not very "nice" to jump into the middle of a discussion and assume that you are beginning the discussion. At the very least, this "nice" person should have browsed the topics of this newsgroup before blindly posting a so-called "new" topic.
This person made a mistake. There's still no reason to be mean, even if it's already been posted.
I think the problem that most people are having with the original post is that the poster sounded a little like s/he was bragging about having been at the filming. It was kind of like s/he was saying "Look at me! I went to the filming! Please give me attention and fill up my mailbox with emails saying how lucky I am, begging me for info!"; whereas when most people go to filmings, they simply post a spoiler if one hasn't already been posted. It wouldn't surprise me if this was the first filming this person had been to.

Apologies from me as well. I think the spoiler itself has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, and caused a lot of animosity which was inevitably (but unfortunately) going to get directed at the first person who unwittingly put their foot in it - unfortunately, that just happened to be you. Blame the spoiler. :)

Adeline, you are a hero. That's right. It is too early. By several hours. But David still wasn't there.
It's not necessarily too early. TOW The Ring filmed from 2PM until a little before 8PM. But I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a cliffhanger anyway, just in case.

Would Mr. Spielberg and Mr. Hanks let him, though? (I know they're both involved, but I have issues with remembering which one's doing what.)
yeah sometimes the tapings are earlier. i went to one which was from about 2-9 but still that was nine not seven. and another one was from 4-10 so the time vary.
Well, if you want to feel even more hopeful, they actually finished filming at around 6:30. It takes me about half an hour on the freeway to drive from Burbank back to where I live, and I got home at around 7:10...
Quite obviously, if they want to film something without the audience there, they'd have to wait for all of us to file outta there...
On a side note, there's no ending tag, AFAICT, so what if they didn't film anything else, what do you think they might show us?

David Schwimmer was in only two scenes for the entire filming.. and they took, on average, three takes for each scene (the last scene throws off this average, by the way, since they did a lot of pick-ups). I didn't really keep track of time, but I think doing three takes couldn't have taken more than half an hour (though the time in between scenes took a bit longer). So if we add about another hour to the filming time, the would have finished at around 7:30; that's still pretty early, I think.
Well, anyway, the possibility that they filmed a cliff-hanger without the audience seems very slim in my opinion, but who knows...
Dr. Briefs wrote stuff that raised my hopes higher again... Yet, nothing's for sure and...
