I noticed something while watching an old episode, all 6 characters were actually in scenes together! What happened to that? Don't get me wrong, I still find the show very funny this season but the dynamic is so different. Also, I don't think Phoebe and Rachel have the same chemistry as Monica and Rachel.
However, I must say Joey has been consistently funnier. I loved the twin and the "How you doin'" bit last night :)
i agree, i don't think R&P are as good together as R&M. They don't do as much group stuff anymore like in the earlier episodes, which i miss! but i still luv the show and hope it stays on the air for a LOONG time :-)

That I *will* agree with - while I don't know the 'How you doin'!' thing from last night because I've not seen it yet, he *has* been the funniest in every episode this season. In a year where Monica's turned into a shrieking Ultramop with hair, Chandler's so whipped it appears Monica's bleached the humour out of him, Phoebe is basically sitting around contacting the spirit world, and Ross and Rachel are having to be given increasingly lame and contrived plots just to keep them apart when it would be *so* much more effective (and easier) to just put them together and be done with it, Joey is the one light that's still fully on in the Friends household. At least the writers know what to do with him, if no-one else.

There's a concept I'm absolutely sure the writers never thought of.

And as I said before, his plots might not be the most creative, but he can pull it off.

The scene after psycho Eddie moves out and Joey moves back in is priceless :)
I don't know about the best of *any* but it sure would be nice to see it sometime this season.

Yeah, in terms of non-sexual chemistry, MLB and MP are pretty high on the list. But in terms of chemistry in general, sexual or non-sexual, I think they're just a little below David and Jennifer (not very much below, though).
If you were to ask my opinions on who's got the best sexual chemistry, though, things would get messy very quickly... :)

I don't think they are at the same level either, there won't be classic scenes like Monica confessing she shopped with Julie, them fighting over a celebrity or any of that. Yet, I still think they have a good dynamic, like in TOW The Apothecary Table and last night's ep.
