Make a note of this date guys... Channel 4 will launch E4 on January 18th 2001 broadcasting from 4pm to 4am seven days a week.
That date happens to be a Thursday so it could mean the start of season seven for UK viewers. They seem to be opting for a Sky One styled schedule rather than putting it on a Friday. I always pefered Thursdays tho!

Channel 4 have signed contracts for the channel to be carried by all major cable companies but not sure if it will appear on the anaolgue cable. It's most likely to be on digital cable tho!
They should also hurry up and agree to a deal on Sky Dig otherwise I'd better switch to cable (again)

I've just read on ITV Teletext that E4 shouldn't cost any extra but I wouldn't take their word. It's just a case of wait and see. I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra for it tho if that was the plan!
