I don't understand why we over in the UK have had seasons 1-7 in boxset form for ages but over your side of the pond you have to wait. It's the same with the 5th series of Stargate SG-1. Over in the States Showtime are still to broadcast the second half of the season yet over here we've nearly finished it. On the SG-1 NG some US viewers are a little jealous. :-)

Yes, this is great but will the episodes on these DVD's have extra footage like on The Best Of Friends DVD's? I already own all of the episodes on VCD and this would be my only reason for buying these knew DVD's! Does anyone know the answer to this?

Have no idea. This is why I am not pre-ordering the new DVDs, since I already own the ones sold in England, I want to make sure they have not just taken the ones sold in the UK and converted them into Region 1 for Americans.
