Just a thought about the whole spoiler thing...

I was just trying to think of a means of stopping all this argument about spoilers. Couldn't, prior to sending out the post, the poster change the color of the spoiling font to white? That way, all you have to do is highlight the post if you want to read it. Signifying in the subject that the post contains spoilers would cause the reader to know to highlight. Seems to make more sense than bickering.

That or scrambling the message using the ROT-13. Both of those, to me, seem to take more effort than pressing return a few times. I think anything that hides the spoiler would be good.

The problem with that is, not everyone's newsreader has the capabilty if changing or reading different font colors.
