Why do NBC keep holding back episodes?

What's the reason this time for not showing new episodes for a few weeks? Last time it was the Winter Olympics.

Well, if you want the season to end at the end of the month, or would you rather have it end in May and then not have to wait so long for the next season?

I would very much like to have all the eppys at once, and then I would be ok waiting for the new season, and I must say that I hate all of the series that only have 20some eppys for each season, I am used to having around 35 eppys for Turkish series, and this seems so lazy and I don't think just because of these they do not really deserve the 1M per eppy earnings... PS: Keyser Soze, did you know that the surname in the Usual Suspects of Keyser Soze actually comes from a turksih word. Soz means word or vocal in Turkish, and the writer wanted to find a surname, so he looked it up in a turkish english dictionary to find the word vocal which is Soz, Soze. Actually, it does answer your question if you think about the implication of Lora's response. They are holding back new episodes now to prolong the end of the season. Specfically, they want to have new eps to run during the May ratings sweeps.
