When did they change Carol

Hi i havent seen it before but i watched the second episode of the first series before and noticed that they used a different carol. Just wondering if anyone knows when and why they did this? Is it just cos she seems like a poor actor?

Anita Barone wanted a more recurring role, which she didn't get, so she left after that one eps.

I prefer Jane Sibbett in the role, anyway. She has done an excellent job as Carol. Plus, Jessica Hetch and Jane Sibbett work much better than Anita Barone did. Just my .02� ~~~ Kathy

Wow lots of great info here! Thanks! I like the second Carol's face better, actually. LOL. Jane S (whom I assume is the second Carol) was really quite good looking as well as being quite a convincing actor. And I agree with someone else that she and the actor playing Susan had er, chemistry, esp in the one where Ross, Carol and Susan have a threesome. Hee hee. And they sure looked like a couple in the marriage eppy.

I can't remember Barone very clearly, but my fleeting impression was that she wasn't a bad actor. LOL

They changed Carol after the first 2 episodes with the original. the other Carol did not look like a lesbian.

What in the world does a lesbian look like? I was at an event last weekend where there were a fair number of lesbians in attendance, and you couldn't tell they were until they kissed their girlfriends or held their hands. Sure, there is a stereotype of the butch lesbian, which is merely a stereotype, but neither of the Carols look that way, so in what way does one look like a lesbian, and not the other?
