9th season spoiler < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < to summarize a bit, here's what happened
rachel gets back to work, sees another guy has taken her place. but they are both very cynic with each other until monica "accidently" invites him ro rachel's b-day party at monica's. he comes after all invited went back to home, and they finally kiss on the balcony. ross is at his appartement and sees that happening through the window. the day after, rachel's really worried about that kiss, because of emma, of ross living with her and beeing emma's father, etc... she decides to talk to him about that, to see what about them, but as usual, ross gets to talk first and speaks about the kiss, becomes really jealous, and talks about the phone number of a guy rachel met in a bar, and that ross never gave to her, because of his feelings for her. well rachel becomes angry and decides to move out at joey's.
and then you have to watch the other episodes ;-) that's just one episode.
