Sorry if this has already been discussed, but does anyone know why they are showing the new series of friends on channel four next friday, only a day after E4? I wasn't expecting to see it until May, but had a very nice surprise when the Radio Times said that it starts on friday. Wehey!

Probably because they have been putting too much work in E4, and it really hasn't paid off, so basically they can still show new episodes first on E4, but not neglecting C4 at the same time.

Maybe falling audiences for the C4 screening? I should imagine that more and more people get to see it before the C4 showing, what with satellite/cable, downloading and the videos/DVDs all being out before they show it.
