Those are vanity cards written by Chuck Lorre, creator/producer of D&G. They usually *are* nuts. Sometimes they even tell little ongoing stories with recurring characters. But they're part of the reason I record D&G.

Croatia was Yugoslavia, or rather used to belong to it with a number of other states, Serbia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Slovenia. It became an independent state at the same time as Slovenia due to the break down of power in Yugoslavia. I think that's right.

I really should record D&G (help if I had a video I suppose :) I tend to make it onto the fifth line before it disapears. I keep on missing D&G because I forget it's on. (over here it's Friday at eleven-thirty because ITV has got it *insert Tina-like rage*. :)

I know, which is why I said it was over by Yugoslavia. :) Croatia declared its independence from Yugoslavia a while ago, which must mean it's near it.
I think it's a pretty good show now - Lee got me into it. And if you want to see the vanity cards, I know there's a site with them up somewhere. It's not on at a good time here, either - the same time as Will & Grace, so really, I *have* to record it if I want to watch it.

D&G is good fun - it's been on The Paramount Comedy Channel, (UK satellite), for quite some time, but not at present - I will contact them to ask when it is going to return. AFAIK the vanity cards are always different.

Okay, I have a better answer now. In last night's vanity card, Chuck Lorre thanked the viewers who read his vanity cards from week to week, and the internet sites who have them transcribed, and he mentioned that there's now a place where you can peruse all of them, but to find it, you have to use your imagination. Then he signed the vanity card, "Thanks, ChuckLorre." So I went to www.chucklorre.com thinking maybe that's what he meant since he signed his name as one word, and sure enough, that's his brand new site and they're all there.
