i just rewatched TOW the blackout and i suddenly questioned myself where is paolo in the following seasons? is it just me or have i missed something? i know he returned in some later episodes but then... did he go back to italy? or did his plane didn't explode in a big ball of fire?... Just a dream I had? ;-) nah, it's just a general wondering, maybe someone can help me...

You may be thinking of episode 201 when Rachel was so distraught over Ross being with Julie, she went out and did a stupid thing i.e. Paolo :)
yeah, i konw this episode, but i wanted to know what happenend, after all this stuff? they (the friends) never mention him anymore. maybe it's just me being a little weird... regards, michael

After Paulo felt up Phoebe, it was a given that Rachel would break up with him. So, when she got together with him in that one later episode (2-01) , the reason for breaking up still applied. She tells Ross, "Well, first of all, Paulo and I are not back together. It was just a stupid thing I did, and if I could go back in time and do it again, well, I wouldn't."
So, it was a fling and a mistake, and she hasn't fallen into that trap since.

Well, she never fell in the Paolo trap ever again. Only time can tell if the Ross trap is really one. Or am I missing you point?

If anyone wants to argue that Rachel is *not* in a trap, then I'll agree with you - but before Phoebe played her "risky little game" Rachel would not have done it again if she had somehow gone back in time.
