In season 4, there was the continuing story of Joey, Kathy and Chandler.
Chandler ended up with Kathy ("TOW Chandler in a Box").
But I don't remember ever hearing about her again, or about them breaking up. What happened? Or is this just a case of the writers/producers not really following up on a storyline?
I'm reading some episode guides/transcriptions on the Web, but that's a bit slow going (though fun).

After realizing that he had acted irrationally and was really unhappy without her, he stopped by her apartment to apologize. But by then, Kathy actually HAD begun to date the costar.
