Courtney appearing in musicvideo with Bruce Springsteen

Hi, I heard the other day that the girl Bruce Springsteen get up on the stage in one video was Courtney Cox. Is this right? If it is do anybody know what video/song, and how old was courtney at that time. Was it planned or was it by a coinsident?

It was Dancing in the Dark, and it was planned. It was before her "Family Ties" Days, when her hair was really short (above the ears!). Kim

Not to mention, this was months before the ill-fated Misfits of Science aired on NBC for one season. BTW, the Dancing in the Dark video was directed by Hollywood director, Brian DePalma.

None of which were exactly box-office smashes though. Besides, we were talking about who was the best known pre-Friends, not about movie appearances. I'm sure far more people saw Mad About You on US TV than saw CC movies in a cinema.

CC was well known on TV after co-starring in "Family Ties" for 3 years.

There is absolutely no way that Kudrow was more famous. Go read the contemporary accounts which all talk about CC having the most familiar face, and how she assured that other five that she did not want to be treated as the star of the show.

Funnily enough, it wasn't until late S2 that I started preferring CC to JA.

To be perfectly honest, I had never heard of CC before Friends. I did recognize JA from the short-lived Ferris Bueller tv series and MP from his role on Growing Pains.
