Courtney Cox is pregnant

FRIENDS star COURTENEY COX is delighted after discovering she is expecting her first child.

The pretty actress, who plays Monica Bing in the US sitcom, is almost three months pregnant.

Just like her character in the series, she has been trying desperately to have a baby.

Courteney, who is married to her Scream co-star DAVID ARQUETTE, has undergone exhaustive consultations with medical experts in her bid to start a family.

A source close to the actress said: "Courteney is pregnant and she is delighted.

"She has been desperate to start a family ever since she got married but she hasn't had too much luck in the past.

"She went to see some fertility specialists at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles last year and she and David have been trying for months.

"They're both scared but excited about the pregnancy and have their fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong."

Courteney is 38 and told friends she was concerned that the longer it took for her to get pregnant, the harder it would be.

She has been through the heartache of two miscarriages and pals say she and David are praying nothing goes wrong this time.

One said: "They're hoping it will be third time lucky for them."

Courteney met David on the set of teen-slasher movie Scream, in which she starred as the ambitious TV reporter Gale Weathers and he played her love interest, Dewey.

They began dating while making the imaginatively-titled first sequel, Scream 2.

Their wedding took place at Grace Cathedral, the crowning glory of San Francisco's Nob Hill, in June, 1999.

Among the 150 guests were the Friends cast, plus LIAM NEESON, KEVIN SPACEY and BRAD PITT.

Courteney, who once dated Batman star MICHAEL KEATON, lives in a seafront Malibu home with David and their pet dogs.

In Friends, currently being screened on E4 and Channel 4, Monica and screen hubby Chandler go through similar problems when trying to start a family.

Stress and to much exercise kills pregnancys.

that wasn't really my point, actually. I was poking fun of the Enquirer, which, if anyone ever has read it, they have some rediculous stories in it. At least they used to. I know they get sued alot for printing false stories too.

The reputation of a celeb tabloid-mag is important factor in the accuracy of the storys, to many and the thing looses credability, even if the a story was true. So NE has to check the validity of each story, no matter how daft they are.

If you want 'rediculous stories' try the Weekly News mag.

Sorry, but your comments are really not cool. This is not something you make snarky little remarks about just because it's your fantasy to knock up Courteney Cox or something. She and DA are married in real life and this is a real thing they're going through/not going through. Not being able to have children is painful. It's not a joke.

I hope she is pregnant and if so, that all goes well. She's wanted kids for a long time.

Looks like she's already been knocked up, and my 'something' is completely honourable.

But for how long? Its a Hollywood marriage, and they generally don't have a good track record for lasting a long time.

Yet if she goes full term they will milk it in the celeb papers. Like Catherine Zeta Douglas did with her wedding.

Me to, sort of, I'll even send them a card.

Then she should have put them first before her career instead of leaving it to the last minute now her career is starting to go on the slide.
