I thought this was a very good episode too, a bit better than last week's episode. This comes close to TOW They All Turn Thirty.
First off, I have to say so far that this is my favorite Mondler storyline in quite a while. I wasn't really wondering how they really got together but it was interesting and funny especially since they also tried to make Joey, Monica, and Chandler look how they did in Season 4. The funny part though was when Joey walked in the room and thought Chandler was mas....nevermind. But to me people would be wondering what condoms Joey was mentioning that Chandler brought with him since that part in TOW Ross's Wedding Part 1 was cut for original airing. Good thing they included that part on the Best of Friends Video. This was a good storyline though.
Next off is Joey's storyline. To me Joey keeps on getting funnier and funnier in every episode. LeBlanc has really kept to his character. I hope he does come up with a good speech for Mondler's wedding although it maybe funny if he includes some of his stupidity in the speech. It would give Monica and Chandler something to remind them about the wedding. I thought the funniest part though was seeing LeBlanc trying on the fat suit for a change instead of Courtney. I wonder if Joey would really look like that if he was with Monica for that long; he does eat a lot but not the point where he is fat. Still funny though.
Now on to Rachel, Ross, and Ben's storyline. I thought this was probably the most comedic performance during the whole episode. I am going to try some of those jokes on my siblings especially the Seran Wrap joke. I have to admit though that I really thought it was Ross who actually fell down the stairs thinking it was a cheap joke since we sort of recognized it was a dummy. I loved Rachel's reaction to the incident. I also think this has so far been the best episode where Spouse really captured Ben, maybe he can keep it going. I hope though that Ross and Rachel do have more storylines together that can maybe lead back to a relationship. Although I would like to know how Rachel will portray the story of her and Ross's break.
Last off, Phoebe's headache medication storyline. At first I thought this was going to be a storyline where Phoebe would just be in her apartment wondering what is going to happen to her but instead she still interacted with the rest of the gang. I do sometimes worry a lot about symptoms after I take some medication and sometimes they do happen, ever heard of psycho-symatic (sp?)? But I found this to be the least important storyline, not the least funniest because it wasn't mentioned a lot. I thought though that the best part of this situation was when she lies down on the couch and Monica gives her a foot rub and then Joey pretends he has a headache too.
I would rate this episode as the best episode after TOW They All Turn Thirty. The writing seems to getting a lot better since TOW All the Cheesecakes. So my overall rating is a 10/10. Did anybody also notice that this has the been the longest supersized episode Friends this February? Twenty-nine minutes compared to twenty-four.
