Have you taken any media or communications classes? Because the WB is making a kiling off of this show, especially from syndication. It seems like a lot, but really, they are getting a fair share of the billions that the show has made already.

Have you taken into consideration that WB most likely opens all syndication deals with "Gee, the cast wanted ANOTHER billion dollars for next season. Sorry, but you will have to cough up some more bucks if you want to air this next spring." That's not a healthy upward spiral (is there ever?).

The cast never asked for a pay raise until this past season. The reason they asked was because they were getting screwed big time on the syndication deal. The deal didn't affect the price because they signed the syndication deal before the cast signed the new contract. Besides, it won't go up for the local stations, the people who will be paying more will be the commercial advertisors.
