My first: TOW The Monkey Gets Away (I gotta admit, I was not amused with this ep. after watchin the show inadvertently)

I dont know the name of it, but it was the episode when Carol gave birth, and Ross & Susan got locked in a storage room arguing. I didn't really understand it and didn't know who everyone was, so it was a bit confusing, and that episode didn't really get me 'hooked'. I think it was sometime in the next series that I actually began to watch it regularly, but thats another story....
Well actually its not another story. Theres not much to it except i began watching it regurly in the next series.

I think the first episode that I actually saw the whole thing was TOW Ross' new girlfriend. I really didn't like it back then, I used to make fun of the show because of the media hype then.
The ep that I think really hooked me was TOW all the Football. It just really made me laugh and I had been catching some eps here and there until I saw that episode, I actually started liking the characters, and thus became hooked on the show.

Well, I've been watching Friends for 4 or 5 years. But not regularly. I started watching regularly when i saw the one with ross and emily's wedding. It was because I was so excited to see what happened after Ross said Rachel, instead of Emily, that I had to see the season premiere of season 5. And after that, I was hooked, and I havent missed an ep since. (Well, ok, I missed TOW Rachel Finds Out, but I caught it in syndication the other day). :o)

The same. It was completely different from any other series I was watching at the time, and I loved it.
I watched the show and enjoyed it a lot from the middle of the first season. The episode that first got me seriously hooked was the finale of that season, where Rachel found out. I loved it! (Even now, Madonna's "Take A Bow" brings it all back!)
I stayed a true fan (a R&R one indeed) until about the end of the second season.
Then the show lost most of its appeal for me, although I did watch some of the 3rd and 4th season episodes.
Finally, the finale of the 4th season, TOW Ross's Wedding got me well and truly hooked again (for C&M reasons), and I've been an obsessive viewer (and C&M fan!) from then until now.

I, also, got hooked on the pilot. It's funny because a woman a work with and I were both ready to see it. The next day at work, she said she thought it was stupid. I said I thought it was hilarious. Over the next few years, she changed her tune and said she ALWAYS like it!

It didn't really hook me, right off the bat, but several months later looking back I realized there was a real warmth and (dare I say it--depth) in that episode. I remember Ross and Monica sharing a smirk over their mother's never being satisfied with Monica, and that bit with the earrings at the end, and also Ross getting misty when all the Sweet and Low falls on his head in Nana's closet.
It's stuff like that that made Seinfeld seem too mean-spirited and shallow for me in comparison.
I finally got hooked on TOW Monica and Rachel pretend to be each other so Rachel can use Mon's health insurance, and then date Noah Wyle and George Clooney. That scene where they are insulting "themselves" ("I use my breasts to get attention!!" "Hey!! We both do that!") made me laugh till my stomach hurt. On the commercial break I actually called up two friends of mine who live 65 miles away, just to say "Are you watching?? Are you watching??" I didn't even say what show, but they were and we laughed hysterically and incoherently on the phone until the show came back on.
Now it's on at 11:00 in syndication. They cut some stuff out, but it's a good way to catch eps I've missed. Finally caught the pilot this year, for example.

ahh I always had to tape them because my mom works nights, so I never had to miss an episode since the pilot, unless the taping got messed up.

ahh, well I hide them. I bring them upstairs after I'm done. But she went on vacation this weekend so I have the whole bag of tapes downstairs :o) it's so nice. It's not so bad now because she doesn't need to tape any shows. By the time the new episodes (of Once and Again *the only non NBC show she tapes*) come out I Should have most of the episodes. If she starts giving me a hard time I'll just stay up late and tape the late ones hell it will be my senior year who needs to sleep then?

LOL I know!! Plus I can't edit out all the commercials sometimes so half of them have commercials and the other half don't. It's annoying I'm thinking of writing which ones do and don't. Also the syndication cuts out lines like these from TOW Everyone Finds Out - my fav ep that just played!!

The first ep I saw was TOW Ross's New Girlfriend. I didn't really like it at first, but when I saw it on the channel that has the reruns, I loved it!
I watched Friends on and off during the second,third and fourth seasons, and it wasn't until TOW Ross's Wedding that I got hooked and *discovered* Friends in syndication (poor me huh?).

TOW the Blackout. Remember NBC's "Blackout Thursday?" It wasn't necessarily what got me hooked, it is just the one episode(besides TOW Rachel Finds Out) from the first season that I most clearly remember. The scene when Chandler calls Monica on the cellular phone trying to tell her what has happened to him only to have to turn to Joey, who understands in a heartbeat, was classic!

It was on a plane coming back from holiday last year. Since that I have watched every single episode in order on video borrowed from a friend! I am now a true fan of a great show, and I am english so it must be good!!

We watched the first few eps, then only sporadically. TOW All the Poker was the first I watched repeatedly, and the Season One cliff-hanger is officially got me hooked to see what developed.
First Episode I ever saw: Quite honestly, I don't remember. The first episode I actually remember sitting down and watching was TOW Two Parts, but for some reason, my gut is saying that the first one I saw was TOW The Blackout or the Pilot.
