Oops, he did it again.
This week's Britney Spears award goes to the Ross Gellar character (David Schwimmer) of "Friends," who has twice had to lose his virginity.
In a recent episode of NBC's hit, Matthew Perry's Chandler teased Ross about a long-past affair with a cleaning woman in their college dorm.
But the writers goofed. That's because five years ago, an entire episode turned on the fact that the only woman Ross had ever had sex with was his ex-wife.
E! Online TV Scoop columnist Kimberly Potts who admits to seeing "every episode five or six times" gets credit for catching the blooper.
When the Insider called series co-creator David Crane, he offered a Clintonian defense. He did not have sex with that [cleaning] woman! She and Ross, Crane explained, "did everything but. I'd like to believe that, even in college, while Carol was the only woman he'd ever had sex with, he did some other stuff, too."
Then Crane shared the line from his writers' room: "We don't know who the President is, and we're worried about this?"
