Just wondering...

Since so many people think Friends is on a decline (I agree, season six wasn't nearly as enjoyable as season five...or two or one), what is it that's keeping you guys here?

I don't mean that in a bad way--like I said, I agree season six was not great--but what is it about the show that makes you keep watching anyway? Is it the actors? The characters? For the Ross and Rachel fans, are you still clinging onto some hope they might get back together, or at least have some closure to their storyline?

Just wonderin'...

Well, I enjoyed season six way more than five. I think the lost edge has just been found again. Chandler is sharper than in s. four and five together, Ross finally stopped being shown as total asshole. And finally, IMHO, they're back with multithreaded story line eps, 80% of season five was episode after episode about one character/situation. Just my $0.02.

I would guess that there are more C&M fans these days. (R&R fans being slowly starved to death)

But comparing the 2 couples at their peaks, I would say that R&R wins out. They were everywhere.

Hellooooo!!! After getting drunk in Vegas, Mislead doodled cat whiskers on his/her face and miaowed this little lot at a statue...

Don't know about that too much... R&R fans are still very leigon and loud, irrespective of how much attention they're getting from the writers.
