At first Elliott Gould and Christina Pickles appear as Monica's parents. During November sweeps Eddie Cahill shows up as Rachel's assistant at Ralph Lauren. Kristin Davis (Sex and the City) stars in one episode, and Maggie Wheeler shows up as Chandler's ex, Janice. Cole Mitchell Sprouse plays Ross's son, Ben in a couple of episodes.
