My friend just informed me that Lisa Kudrow & Jennifer Aniston were nominated for the Kids Choice Awards in a category with Rider Strong & Ben Savage, Sarah Michelle Gellar & David Boreanz (excuse me if I spelled his last name wrong), David Duchovny & Gillian Anderson for "Best Friends." Thought that cute.

Don't even *dream* of LK and JA winning, though. That award's going to Sarah Michelle and David, hands down - Buffy and Angel definitely aren't kids' shows, but I think the characters and actors appeal more to kids than Phoebe and Rachel these days. Also, to be honest, I *don't* really think Phoebe and Rachel are best friends - I think Rachel's best friend on the show is actually Ross, in spite of everything. (I'm debating about whether I'd be saying anything different if it was David Schwimmer and Jennifer, though.)

Umm. You know Buffy and Angel (yes, I know this is a Friends newsgroup! I just digress a lot!) - does anyone else think that Angel is way too old for Buffy? I don't mean the fact that he's like four million years old or whatever, but still - David Boreanaz is way too old for Sarah Michelle Gellar. Just wanted to share.

Clearly, Sarah Michelle Geller doesn't think so. :) (They're rumoured to be dating in real life.) Plus, I don't see what you're getting at myself - David only really looks a couple of years older than Sarah.

ok, has any of u relized that BUFFY AND ANGEL are not even on the same show anymore!! they haven't seen each other in a while! and they were never best friends, buffy's best friend is willow! buffy and angel were a couple! i would LOVE to see Jennifer and Lisa win, but as you guys said, not a lot of children watch Friends. My bet is on Cory&Shawn... but i'll be rooting for Rach&Pheebs!

Well, I wouldn't say Rachel and Phoebe are best friends either, in that case... as I said before, Rachel's best friend on the show is Ross IMHO, not Phoebe, and I don't think Phoebe really *has* a best friend on the show. Being a roommate does not automatically qualify you for 'best friend' status. And what is there to say that a couple *can't* be best friends?

And why are you so offended by the idea that people might like another nominee to win in the first place?!

Why Rachel and Phoebe? I thought it's obvious that Rachel & Monica are best friends more than Rachel & Phoebe. But it's Kids choice so I guess It doesn't matter :) I personally think it would be cute if Mulder & Scully won.

I just posted it because I thought the concept of them being nominated for that award seemed cute. =)

That was one of three sitcoms that on 7th November 1997 continued the time ball story 'Inna-Gada-Sabrina' from "Sabrina the Teenage Witch", where she travelled through time to be in the episode 'The Witches of Pennbrook', before catching Salem in "You Wish" ('Genie Without A Cause'), and meeting Hilda & Zelda in "Teen Angel" ('One Dog Night').

Sadly, that's all I know, (from the IMDb), for these three programmes are either unshown on British TV, or confined to a premium rate subscription channel. Can anyone supply fuller details - as much as possible?
