FYI: In Europe and UK the periods and commas are reversed from the US usage. So, 1.075,5 in the UK would be 1,075.5 in the US.

When you make this list longer you finally get to novenonagintanongentiljard (novenonagintanongentillion) wich is 10E5997 for europeans and 10E3000 for americans. This means that europeans can express bigger nummers in there langues

The european way should be the same for british english but in England they are beginning to use the american system more often. So when in politics they talk about 200 billion they mean 200.000.000.000 When you are talking about money it's very easy to figure out wich amount the ment. But when you're speaking of 200 billion red blood cells then allmost nobody has got a good reverence. So in this case they tend to speak of 200.000 million so no mistakes in amount could be made.

By the way, the european system is more widly used. Simply because there are more europeans then americans. In China and Japan they use both systems (when they're translating to english). They use the european system when they have to make a translation for europe and the american system when they have to translate for america. Aren't they clever there in the east :-)

Surely the UK billion is the correct one? But as true UK billions are hardly never heard of they use the American one to save themselves having to say "three thousand million" for example. I'm sure in 100 years when inflation has done its job we'll be using the UK billion.

It does matter how you spelled it because is it 1,075 MB or is it 107.5 MB, or did you get it confused w/ KB and is it really 1075KB(which is not possible for a 20min. video?
