Plus, to be honest, SMG gave Buffy an unnecessarily hard edge this season. And besides, I don't think she would fit into Friends at all - she's far better suited to drama than comedy.

Nah, I really don't think SMG would have done a better job than Reese Witherspoon. She did an excellent job, and a large majority enjoyed her character (or her acting rather), as opposed to Elle Mcpherson's boring Janine (funny how she called Chandler boring, there was nothing funny or interesting about her really). Besides, why would SMG appear on a show on a competing network? The WB wouldn't be too happy with that.
