807 and 808 TITLES!!!

At NBCMV under storylines, it says that 807, airing on November 8 will be called "The One With The Stain" and 808, airing on November 15 will be called "The One With The Stripper".

I just thought, 807 better not be some stupid Mondler storylines where Chandler like spills crap on Monica's couch cushion and spends the whole episode trying to prevent her from finding out about it. He has become so whipped it isn't even funny. If this is what commitment is, no wonder Chandler was afraid of it for so long. I am not by any means an anti MandC fan, it's just I hate it when writers give them storylines that are so dumb...we didn't need a whole year for their engagement, because the whole thing was filled with stupid trivial things that shows just how immature and selfish Monica is, like obsessing over the engagement photo, wedding scenario C, the perfect gown, and all that other pointless crap. They practically have been engaged for two years because let's all face it, from basically the end of the fifth season on, we all knew they were going to end up together. I think the writers dragged their whole engagement on way too long when they could have been spending that time giving Monica and Chandler more mature, believable storylines. Something like Ross and Rachel's baby, I can see taking up most of the season because pregnancies are nine months but making an engagement last as long as it did was really meaningless because it didn't build any suspense to their relationship (we all knew these two are joined at the hip for life) and all it appeared to do was fill time so the writers wouldn't have to think of other ideas. Yes, I am a RnR fan, but I am not saying I don't like CandM...I just don't like the way the writers have dealt with them. I do agree they shouldn't be so mushy (it doesn't work for these two-like the proposal scene BARF!). No I liked it, but Chandler's crying was a bit over the top. However, they also are annoying when Monica is so shrill and bitchy and neurotic about stupid things like cleanliness and stains. The writers need to go back to how these two were near the beginning of season 5 when their relationship was just starting...that's when I thought they were the best.

The writers obviously had the wedding in mind for the season finale, so they engaged for a year. Besides Monica and Rachel have mentioned that it'd take them over a year to plan their weddings. Besides people can be engaged for a year or more. I know lots of couples like that. Engagement photo story was crap. The wedding dress was a good episode. Monica wasn't selfish, she gave up her perfect gown for Chandler. She can be nice to him too but lately she seems to have forgotten that trait.

Thats probably not going to happen. They'll probably be the annoying sidekicks this season. Although I hope this isn't the case.

I know isn't this great!!! We are finally able to watch a new friends show every week!!! :) Last year (If memory serves me) there was a rerun last season at about the fourth week. I love that they are putting this much effort into the show now. But they are probably doing this because it is the last season. I hope not. :(

I think a lot of it has to do with FOX having the World Series. NBC used to carry some games (most likely for the league championships), and they usually ended up on Thursdays.

Normally I think there is at least one rerun within 8 weeks, but maybe because of everything being pushed back a week because of the recent tragedy that they're trying to get back on schedule and continuing to show new episodes, especially for November since that's the sweeps. That's just a guess, I don't know for sure.
