I was watching TOW the Flashback yesterday, and I found that C&M moment at the end of the episode rather interesting. I *think* that this was the earliest indication given of a spark between Chandler and Monica. At that point, there's still well over a season and a half to go before their initial hook-up. Then of course theres all the drama going on during TOA the Beach, where Chandler wonders why he's not boyfriend material. Do you think that BKC just decided to hook them up in S4 or that they wanted this kind of gradual closeness to build up their relationship?
You are taking real-time year and a half before they hooked up right? I mean, the flashback was 1994 in "Friends time", right?
I have never heard any of them discuss when the idea hit them. In any case, it came as a complete surprise to me when it happened. I agree that there might have been some subtle foreshadowing though. TOA The Beach is a very good possibility. Do you think it could be that writing that episode could be the trigger for the idea?
The 2 of them always seemed to hang out a lil bit more than the others. I picked an episode at random and watched it (122 - TOW Ick Factor) and they were sitting beside each other at Central Perk. Which you see quite often anyway.
I still have my fingers crossed for Joey & Pheobe. Maybe its too obvious of a match but since the episode (I forget the name) where Joey Dates Ursala there have been little hints all along season to season about possible hidden sparks between them. I keep thinking & secretly hoping that in the end the 2 of them will hook up.
Ross & Rachel well the writers screwd with us for too long in dealing with that. I'd like them to take season 10 as an opportonity to get us rooting for them again. Make Ross a man or at least a loving atentive guy with some resemblance of a backbone & shake off a bit more of the sissy winey boy from his charecter & I think it could possibly happen. I (as most of us) really enjoyed their relationship way back when it was working but have been increasingly annoyed with them & the writers after to the point where (IMO) its almost repulsive to think of them ending up together. Ok Maybe repulsive is too strong a word. But still you catch my drift... don't U?
Chandler & Monica are cute together, I am glad that the writers brought these 2 together but I would much rather see Chandler with me ;-) ohh lala haha
