My personal opinion goes to RnR...their storylines are better and they seem to have better chemistry than Monica and Chandler have (at least anymore)...maybe that's just because Monica and Chandler were an excellent couple at the beginning of their relationship, but they have been together for three years and NEVER BROKEN UP. I think this has added a sense of boredom to their relationship. Ross and Rachel create so much suspese, allowing all the "will they, won't they" questions regarding a romantic reunion. I think we all know "they will", we just wonder "WHEN they will." Anyway, it drives me nuts when MandC fans get mad that Ross and Rachel have dominated the season so far. Those claims just come across as so arrogant because a), we are only 4 episodes into the season...BE PATIENT, b), we are dealing with a pregnancy here, this is a big storyline for any character on the show and deserves some attention, and c), Monica and Chandler dominated all of last season, and arguably much of the sixth, and even the fifth as well.

This thread is a bitter argument looking for a place to happen. I personally prefer R&R myself, but M&C's run in the middle of the show's career extended its life by at least two years. Now as M&C run out of gas, R&R rev back up to keep the magic going.
Both couples have played their part in creating the show's greatest episodes, and both couples have at some time or another been so overused that they dragged the show down. The quality of writing has always been the difference between TOW Ross Finds Out and the tedious fourth season bickering, between TOW Everybody Finds Out and Monica's Tantrum Of the Week. (Playing through all of season six until I couldn't stand it anymore.)
That's understandable, but the one difference between Ross and Rachel with Monica and Chandler is that when Ross and Rachel bickered in season 4, they had broken up, and I thought it added a little tension to the show (but that's just an opinion). I am saying I get sick of Monica and Chandler's stupid arguments because they are married, and should grow up. I am sorry if I posted a bitter argument, because I am not bitter one way or another.
