Some of those photos are old, making her very young in them, but I'm with Christopher when it comes to the make-up, hairdressing, lighting, etc.

I agree, it reminds me of the work of the late Kevyn Aucoin. It's not necessarily designed to be beautiful in the expected way so much as it's art.
