Can this shit stop?? Time for basic rules!

Hi,

Most of you know me by now. I'm a nice guy.....I try to be funny from time to time, I get into serious discussions about stuff from time to time, but lately I've been fed up with the kind of bullshit that has been posted here during the last couple of weeks. It has to stop!

Racial aggresion (hate for the simple-minded), senseless off-topic flames and the "How To Make More Money" nonsense.

What has happended to my favorite newsgroup? Activia is gone, Adeline is gone for a while, Coca Cola is out of sight, Seran and Jacqui aren't writing as much as they used to and suddenly this group is infested with low IQ varmints who can't control their language and don't even know how to work their keyboards properly (Caps Lock).

It's a shame, really. This used to be a really fun group. I haven't seen any rules posted for a long time and I'm not even sure anymore if this newsgroup is moderated or not, so if it's not, here's a set of ground rules for the newbies out there! (and you know who you are!)

• No swearing
• No shouting (Caps Lock off!)
• No commercial messages
• No anti-racial postings of any kind
• No sex-ads
• No over-exaggerated quoting

Simple rules, right?

The purpose of this newgroup (alt.tv.friends) is right there in the name. Let me break it down for those that still don't get it: alt.TV.FRIIENDS. It exists for those that watch the tv-show Friends. Not for people that come her to crosspost lots of useless babbling. Try a chat newsgroup or something. You're in the wrong place. I'm sure there are legal ways to get rid of those that break the rules and I will dedicate my free time to finding that legal way. There's always a way to find out just who you are, where you live and who your ISP is so we can get rid of you indefinitely.

Okay, remember, it's not as bad as my dad makes out, but that's to me anyway... basically, I didn't like him at all, in that way. But at the sixth form ball (so posh) I danced with him and his friends, but when I started to get a bit dehydrated (hadn't had a drop of water all day) he looked after me and everything, and he was cool. Then we started dancing together, as far as I was aware, it was as friends, then he kissed me, and I didn't stop it. Then we went out for a few days. I thought it was gonna be casual, but he took it seriously. so seriously that he told me he loved me after seeing each other for five days! I lied and said I felt the same. Then four days after that, I told him it was over, I was sick of him and I never even loved him. I dumped him just before school started. and everyone knew about it. the day after we broke up I told him I was sick of his whining about never finding a girlfriend when he is just 17. Then! One day in the middle of the history class we were all telling stories and I just happened to blurt out that he told me once that he wanted to sleep with Chris Tarrant (see why I didn't like him?) And that's pretty much the whole story. I was seen as pretty evil by my dad when he found out what I did.

I was pretty busy at the time so I didn't hunt down a graphical artist to make me one (I'm not the best at that stuff) so you'll have to excuse me.
