Burn Vcd - help

Hello guys

I download Friends episodes from season 7 and wanted to burn it on CD. I went to vcdhelper.com get all the info I needed but no matter what tools I use to convert these Avi's to Mpeg-1 adaptec does not accepts and lists bunch of errors.

Is there anything about these files that make them not possible to convert to properly working Mpeg-1 ? Anyone done that b4 ? I did try so far TMPGEnc beta 12+ and Panasonic MPEG Encoder 2.5+ and adaptec VCD creator (delux 4.1) Is there something special about the setting that I don't know ? I just follow the default one . any help appreciated monica

TMPGenc is fine. You just need to load the VCD-settings. Do NOT do the settings yourself, that is SO wrong. All you need to do is load the vcd settings, it's located somewhere in the TMPGenc-directory. You can choose for NTSC, PAL, Supervcd,etc. I'd choose for either NTSC or PAL and then in the settings choose super high quality.

It could well be that the MPEG file isn't suitable for VCD.

All I know on this subject is that you cannot create a VCD from an mpeg file that is not "white book" format - I'm not entirely sure what constitutes a white book mpeg file - check your VCD programs documentation for help.

Where did u download these eps from? - just want to know so I can get em 2 :o) U say they are AVI - r they DivX?
