Friends DVD question.

Is this new "Best of Friends" DVD advertised in North America the same as the region 2 box set sold in England? Can those in North America by the same thing that the English are getting? Who is getting more and who is getting less? Thanks in advance for your help.

We have 146 episodes on DVD, all standard length. The "Best of Friends" gift set consists of two discs with the following 12 episodes...

      101 "Pilot"
  116/117 "TOW Two Parts"
      118 "TOW All the Poker"
      207 "TOW Ross Finds Out"
      214 "TOW the Prom Video"
      302 "TOW No One's Ready"
      412 "TOW the Embryos"
  423/424 "TOW Ross' Wedding"
      508 "TOW All the Thanksgivings"
      514 "TOW Everybody Finds Out"

..which have been digitally remastered, and are *longer* than standard length (as opposed to their syndicated reruns, which are shorter). The set is also available on NTSC video tapes.

However, nobody gets more or less, since we can all play all discs.
