Changing Phoebe

Has anyone noticed that Phoebe did not play her guitar at all this season? Her character seems to be getting less flighty, less creative and more cynical, coarse and less interesting. Poor Phoebe.

I have noticed that there has been less off Phoebe this season. That's great because her character is the one I like the least in the whole show.

Has anyone noticed that Phoebe has become more bitchy these last few seasons. She used to be just weird-but-funny phoebe, but she's lost some of her 'weirdness' that made her... well Phoebe!

totally. it was right from the beginning of the last season i switched on and - wow - for some reason they'd totally changed her character. i didn't used to mind her, but these past two seasons i've noticed that she's become a real bitch and i utterly hate this new character they've given her.

She has been rather mean and nasty the past few seasons, and we never hear her play or sing anymore - maybe the writers could explain this in some future episode. Depression from having babies that she didn't get to keep? Her true love is still in Minsk? All of her friends seem to be having dynamic lives and great jobs and falling in love, and she's just there playing the Greek chorus.
