Is it just me - or is Chandler a bit less funny as a married man ?? My favourite friend was Chandler, but now I really think that the writers don't writethe same amount of jokes to him anymore! But Ross has become so much funnier. He is so funny - not the joker, but his actions gets funnier and funnier. The same with Rachel and Joey - but mostly Ross.
Or is it just me??

You are right, a weeks ago somebody told that the chair at Joey�s was funnier than Monica & Chandler storylines,and he/she was right.

Marriage seems to have made him happy, while his humor came from the dysfunction of his family and his single life. It's a challenge for the writers to come up with a new problem for him to play off. Maybe they'll find a new groove for his humor soon. We can always hope.

He said that his humour was a defense mechanism. But you don't just change like that, he doesn't crack any jokes anymore, he's boring as hell.

Exactly. He could still be funny while being happy and secure. It shouldn't be too hard to write him a few good lines every episode since that's all he gets to say these days - a few lines.

Exactly, we need more, he doesn't hang out with Joey anymore. Besides, his humour was never really overly nasty, it was very funny. There is a difference.
