If you begin the subject with "!!!!" it will startle AND come early.
The biggest worry is spoilers in the subject heading. You could give a warning for these by saying just the start. Say somebody posts that the finale cliffhanger is "RACHEL PREGNANT BY JOEY!!!" then you could post a !!!! warning entitled "RACHEL P******************", then we obscure all but the first 8 characters, find the topic & save it out to the archive.

I did that in the last one did you see that Tennant? I will not be on the night before the finale, to save myself. Once I see the finale, I'll make sure and read all posts than I'll send you an email so you know what time I came off. TO make sure its safe..is this ok?

You know, there's something weird (with my nr). Every week Chris posts the Broadcasts Schedule and it gets responses every time. Then my nr "refreshes" (=suppresses supposedly 'old' messages) the group so I only see the responses to those Broadcasts Schedules. What about a subtle typo in the subject name? You could precede "Rachel was great tonight" with "Rache1 was great tonight"...

I'm a spoiler addict too, I read all the Neighbours spoilers, though being five weeks behind Australia gives less scope than a year behind used to.
And I perform a similar Spoiler Police service for friends who are *huge* Star Trek fans with the science fiction & cult TV magazines they buy - I read them first, then pin just a few pages together with a read-by date.
Friends spoilers are best read *after* the show... :)

Yay! So you're doing physical spoiler prevention, and Act and I are doing virtual (but nonetheless useful) spoiler prevention. =)
There's no way I could ever know! Try as I might, I *cannot* refrain myself from reading spoilers. It's so exciting knowing what happens beforehand, especially when you can't wait till the next ep.
