I am a lurker here and maybe I have missed something.....but isn't it possible that "Friends" could return for a 10th season---or even an 11th? After all, this season was definitely the last one?

The people in control have expressed that season 9 will be a season to "send these six friends out into the world." The plan is to tie up loose ends as well. (I'm not sure what loose ends need to be tied up, but I'll be interested in watching to find out throughout the rest of this season and next.)
Actually I do believe that the ninth season will be the last...:( This is primarily because I read something somewhere online (it escapes me where just now) that they only have arrangements with the networks to run up to nine seasons in syndication. Thought that argument was kind of bizarre, both then and now, but still...
