Survivor competes again in the fall

In Oct., Survivor 3 will debut and it will be on Thursdays. I like Survivor and I love Friends. I hate this!! cj

Well, there's one simple solution. Watch Survivor and tape Friends, or vice versa.

Incidentally, last week was the only time Friends ever beat out Survivor 2 in weekly viewing audience this year (since it was "Survivor: Back from the Outback," which was basically a recap episode) Every other week, S2 beat out Friends handily in weekly viewers. In fact, throw out last week, and S2 was the #1 watched show every week except the premiere (because of the Super Bowl) and a week when they recapped the first half (also because of the Academy Awards). Their reunion show two weeks ago beat out a brand-new episode of ER running at the same time, which was unheard of just a couple years ago.

I wonder what type of show it will take to derail this CBS ratings juggernaut.

I've never watched Survivor, I don't want to, and I want it to go away. Leave Friends alone, you Road-Rules-Without-the-Travel. . . .
