Does anyone think I should possibly post everything I post twice? Because I've just written off to the techie support people at my news server about the problem with messages, which I've discovered isn't just Agent naffing itself up again but is actually a widespread problem throughout a lot of the servers. (How I wish I could move to another server without losing �65 of my mum's money...)

Tina, have you ever tired test posting to alt.test? Does that work consistently or inconsistently?
I think (but am not sure) that if the post to alt.test works, you should get a confirmation email back.
