I thought that it may be fun to make a list of rhetorical questions after new episodes. I'll make my list to get things started and then everyone can feel free to add to the list.

What's with Lisa's hair?

Isn't Ross's dancing funny?

Don't we have enough overly competitive characters without adding Chandler to that list?

Does anyone actually think Ross not being ready for a serious relationship and wanting to take things slowly will be addressed again with Elizabeth?

After watching C&M try to hook Rachel up tonight, is there any denying this Mondler thing?

Why is there no mention of young Ethan?

Why is there no mention of the college kid Rachel dated?

Wasn't it nice to see Ross happy with someone?

Doesn't it suck that it's doomed to hurt him again?

Isn't there only one way this could turn out good for him?

Is it obvious what way that would be?

Doesn't Matt L. do great with the writing he's given?

And finally, How come Elizabeth left the coffehouse because it was a school night and she had a paper to write, but then later Ross and her were at his office obviously during the class day wearing the same clothes?

Here's another one: if Chandler is so worried about Joey that he tried to trick him into "winning" money from Chandler at Cups, why won't Chandler help Joey replace the fridge they both used for six years?

I didn't quite understand this whole story with the fridge. Chandler *did* live in that apartment first, so if he had to furnish it with a fridge, then it belongs to him. Joey should be grateful he still has it. Or, if this is like most apartments, where the fridge, stove, and other common items are included in the rent, then the landlord must take responsibility of replacing the fridge.

I'm sure we'll never hear mention of the "fridge" again, and this was just another way the writers came up with to use all 22 (or whatever it is) minutes.

Some times they have both characters take on personality traits that only one really possesses normally. This time, Chandler was as freakishly overcompetitive about nothing as Monica normally is. They are not writing these two well AT ALL this year. But some of us knew this would happen. This staff of people doesn't know how to write couples. They never have. They broke up Ross and Rachel because of it, and since they are trying to avoid the bitter fan backlash that accompanied THAT move by making this one work out, we get Mondler. I am very fond of Chandler and I used to like Monica, but I really don't care much for Mondler at all. I will state, for the record, that Mondler is an entirely sixth season phenomenon. They were two individuals in love and doing well last year.

I'm sure you've read several of the complaints that have been made in this newsgroup about them blending so much you can't tell them apart. This is not a good thing, though. We've never seen Chandler this competitive, and getting Rachel a date is just something that wouldn't have interested him in the past (aside from TOW The Girl from Poughkeepsie), especially not enough to drag him in and embarrass the whole group just so that he could win. Well, anyway, this last episode just added one more bit of evidence to support that complaint i'm talking about. Mondler has been dominating the season. For the record, i don't mind them being together if they can get some good storylines where they are individuals, such as TOW Ross Dates A Student.

OMG I know!! I was not happy with that storyline at ALLL!!! They have done better this season then that! Last episode was good...I hope they dont do that again..

I didn't notice that it was different from how it has been in the last couple episodes. But I haven't liked it lately.

Now imagine if he were given some *good* writing...

I'm not big on continuity, but even *I* noticed that one! At first I was thinking, "Maybe red is her best color."

One more: Did anyone else think it was incredibly predictable that Joey was going to claim that Ross broke his fridge when he pushed him into it?
