I hope Paul Rudd didn't sign the contract with "Mike".

If he appears in every third episode only, that'll be enough for the whole season. After his evening of boredom with Ross I predicted that Mike would be dropped soon, because any new group member had to get along well with each of the others. Seems like I was wrong.

I'm pretty sure that "guy" hadn't had anything to do with this decision.

I like his little comments, though. E.g., when Monica was singing. He's also a good reason to avoid having to hook up Phoebe with Joey or, even worse, Ross.

I don't think they're going to get married. I think Mike is going to get engaged to someone else - after all his "i'll never get married" stuff, it is almost inevitable that he will soon get married. It's not sitcom logic, it is real world experience. When Phoepe finds out she will be angry/bummed out.

I was wrong, but only because the show was unrealistic. If a woman says she doesn't want a committment, it means she wants a commitment with another guy. Right after women dump you, they find somebody else and everything they just said goes out the window.

Wait - reverse the genders in all that. It probably still applies.
