Does anyone knows if there is a reason, political, commercial etc.., that the friends seasons are not on sale in DVDs? I mean that is the perfect media for long haul shows. Yet, I didn't even see VHS in U.S. I did saw them on sale in VCDs outside U.S. but VCD is such a stupid idea since you only can pack 2 episodes per CD. How many episodes are there from season 1 to 6? What are the suits thinking?

Friends DVDs are everywhere in Europe. I've got seasons 1-5 on VCD and I'm happy with them all the same.

A multi-region player looks to see what number the disc is, finds a 2, so it pretends to be a Region 2 player, answers any awkward questions, and then plays the disc.

Tennant, yes I'm from Vancouver. Have been living in Holland for a few years now (but I'd never give up my Canadian citizenship for anything). I do go home for a visit every year, though.
