Am I the only one, or should FRIENDS return after next season? I think a show like this, that is so loved should not end after only 8 seasons!
The execs at NBC should, and will do anything in their power to keep FRIENDS on the air. The stars signed two year contracts when the network bumped up their salaries by 75%, so why not bump them up again, at least $1 million an episode each. Anything to keep FRIENDS on the air.
Should it? Yes, if the writing wasn't slipping. Will it? No. The cast wasn't eager to return for the seventh and eighth seasons. There is no way on God's green earth that Lisa Kudrow or David Schwimmer would sign another contract so that their characters can drift farther into idiocy.

Me, most of the fans, and the critics. I'm not saying the show is bad--in fact, it's better than last season. But there is nothing tying the episodes together but C&M's weak-ass wedding storyline. And the writers like it that way. And don't go calling me a doom-monger, Tennant. I could say to you that if YOU had YOUR way, the show would center around C&M and let the other characters (with the exception of an occasional episode here and there) get lost in the shuffle. Oh, wait. The show already is like that. My bad.

Ok, why are you posting this stuff about him here? I don't think it's appropriate. I talk to him once in a while and he never swears over the IM, at least not to me.
As for him insulting Tennant, well I don't know why he did that, but is it really all that different to say someone's opinion is trash than to call them it?
Actually, I don't agree with some of what he says, for example I enjoy C&M and don't see the problems that he does, and I am not what you would call a Ross & Rachel fan. I don't have the same complaints as a lot of people do about the show not being as good as the past and stuff like that. But I still think that people should be allowed to voice legitimate complaints and not be told they are wrong.
Everyone makes mistakes sometimes, sometimes people say stuff they don't mean. I don't think it's fair to bring up all of Mike's faults here.

Don't panic ! The studio are not adverse to producing other series in the future, and the cast too have expressed alot of interest in doing a reuinion series.
