on NBC, they showed nothing about this weeks episode involving a sink or a kiss between R and R. There was also no preview about Chandler or Monica. It showed something with Rachel, Phoebe and Ross and self-defense, they were hiding from him, scaring him, and he screamed like a girl. That's all that happened. looks like that sink spoiler is out the window.

I wonder if this might be a case in which the original storyline didn't work and the show was partially refilmed (didn't this happen with TOW The Apothecary Table?). I will swear that NBC never showed a promo for this episode unitl tonight, and it usually doesn't take this long: leading me to wonder whether or not this episode was late in the can.
Well the TV Guide here says for Thursday that Rachel tries to prove to Ross she can fix a sink. It can't be totally untrue...maybe they are just changing the order?

It could be totally untrue if it was cut. We've had storylines which have appeared in "official" press releases - like a storyline with Rachel dining alone that was published in TV Guide that never panned out. And one I vaguely remember about the girls line-dancing, which we also never saw. If something was originally planned for the episode and then was cut, it would certainly help explain all the confusion lately.

I didn't know it was a lie, but yes, it looks as though it was. I'm not too angry about that, though - what I'm angry about is that I asked someone who I trusted, and who *claimed* to know what he was talking about, telling him that I only wanted what he knew to be true, and he double-crossed me. That's what stings about it, not the fact that it won't happen - had he not been telling me repeatedly to expect good things to happen, I would not be upset, as I did not expect it to happen anyway. (And yes, I have stayed true to my hair colour and just had a go at him about it.)

Well, it appears the poor people at TVSpoilers.com have been the latest who've fallen prey to a guy who's been going around creating false R&R spoilers and then a little later going back, admitting it was a lie and proceeding to slag off R&R fans to no end. If he didn't post the original 'spoiler', then he *certainly* posted the latest false spoiler on there, which says that he saw R&R get back together at the 620 taping. I've come across him before, and his tell-tale sign is *always* that he always claims they get back together in an episode that hasn't even been taped yet, then says he was at the tape. I only wish I could find an email address on that site and email them to tell them what's going on (and apologise for clogging up their site with complaints about their spoilers).
Those people that give the false hope, ugh!! I'm going to next Friday's taping though, so I'll finally be clear on everything that's happening, since as of now i'm rather confused.

Here's a theory. Is it possibe they wrote and taped some material with the idea that the show was ending (and R&R reunite.) But then they found out it would continue (and they dumped it for a later time?) I am beginning to think Bobby's right. They won't let these guys actually get back together until the show is in its death throes. Funny, I thought it had gotten there.

Well, they still don't know that the show's going to continue anyway. At least they've not dropped the Rachel-moving-around storyline as previously thought, so there *is* still a little hope.
Yeah, I thought the writers had forgotten all about the "Rachel plays musical chairs" thing. They tend to forget about things like that, you know, things they say will happen and never do!

You and Bobby are probably right. I just wish that the writers would see the show is coming to its end, I don't see it going past next year, and give Ross and Rachel a little bit of a chance here. I mean, will it totally kill them to be creative for a year? They DID have three years to think of possible storylines for them being together!

It's really not that I wouldn't want it to go on forever, seriously, I'd keep watching. The problem is most sitcoms are remembered for the way they ended and I don't want Friends to be dragged until the non-fans start saying it sucks.
