TOW Rosita Dies

The episode wasn't bad (though it was missing the spark Jill brought last year).

The only thing that really bothered me was the ending.

Did Joey and Rachel get on anyone else's nerves, too? Chandler *should* have gotten the chair. The behavior of J&R was awful. Rachel broke Joey's chair. Chandler kindly replaces the chair with his. Then Joey breaks Chandler's chair. So, what happens? Chandler is punished for his good deed, and the rotten J&R benefit with a new chair.

Personally, I would have rather seen C&J team up against Rachel. But for some reason, the writers want to have Joey and Rachel glued at the hip at all times. Rachel has been a bad influence on Joey. I miss the days of old where Joey would side with his best bud Chandler.

Eh, I think that was reasonable. Chendler replaced the chair out of guilt, not kindliness. And J & R *had* the good chair. I think Chandler was just out of luck in this one.

Maybe Joey's getting even with Chandler for ditching him a year and a half ago... :)

It was not said that Chandler would not get a new chair. Maybe J and R each paid half for a new one for C's. Anyway, Chandler has the most money of the 3, right? So he would have the easiest time getting a new one.

Amen..I agree, Chandler deserves a new chair. I see it like..Rachel broke the chair, she replaced it, Joey purposely broke Chandler's chair, so he alone owes Chandler a chair. Since Joey broke the good chair, I don't think Rachel should give up the new one. Joey's gonna have to buy 2 chairs now lol.

I thought it was great fun to finally see a Chandler+Joey+Rachel story, even though it was a bit weird to see Joey teaming up with Rachel instead of his old friend Chandler. However, I enjoy Joey and Rachel together more than several others.

I thought Phoebe's storyline with Earl (Jason Alexander) was going to be far bigger than it turned out to be, so that story was somewhat of a disappointment. However, it was brave of the writers to deal with an issue as serious as suicide. I had to laugh out loud when she asked: "Chandler?"

The story I enjoyed the most was Ross and Monica dealing with their childhood memories. Elliot Gould is always great as Jack Geller, and seeing him smoking made me hope he won't put any ideas into the head of his future son-in-law... Monica had every right to respond that way, and she was not screechy when she was devastated because of the water damage. And I would really like to see Chandler's face when he discovers that his girlfriend has a Porsche..

This episode wasn't particularly funny, so I hope there will be more laughs on Thursday.
