Actually, I've never really gotten into the syndicated reruns of current programs. My memory of this may be faulty, but I seem to recall when I was a kid, thirty years ago, that a show did not get to such reruns until it was off the air. So it was a pleasant way to see a favorite show after the fact.
Now, we see them go to syndicated reruns while the show is still in prime time. In some cases, they even run two reruns daily. And then, when the show goes off the air, the syndicated run sort of trickles off, to be replaced by some other show tht is still hot.

That would be a quiet day for C4 & Friends at the moment.
Except when that show is The Simpsons, apparently - Sky One has being repeating the old ones for years with remarkably little drop-off of audience.

All commentaries are from BKC, unfortunately the cast hasn't made any effort in this field. It's still interesting.
