Stories For Season Seven

I've been lurking around here for awhile, but never posted anything. And I have some damn good ideas on how to keep the show going for AT LEAST one more season.

1) LIVING ARRANGEMENTS. Yeah, Chandler and Monica are getting married (zzz...). That doesn't mean that they have to live together UNTIL the wedding. What if Joey, being Joey, decided to move out of his apartment because "he's a big star," leaving Rachel stranded? Then she could move in with an eager Ross (maybe pick up the fact that he re-loves her that the writers dropped like a hot potato). C&M decide, for their own benefit, not to live together. So Phoebe and Monica move across the hall into Joey's. And Joey realizes he has nowhere to go when he can't afford a big apartment, so he lives with Chandler. For a half season, we have Joey/Chandler interaction, Phoebe/Monica arguing, and Ross/Rachel action. And when Chandler and Monica get married, why not let Joey stay with them because he doesn't wanna live with Phoebe?

2) ROSS AND RACHEL. Get them back together. As much life as Chandler and Monica put into the show during season five, they've taken out twice that amount. It's time to bring Ross and Rachel back; they will pull in sensational ratings. It's easier to do it while they live together, as well.

3) GIVE PHOEBE/JOEY DIRECTION. Joey has a part on a TV show. What if the show was a hit and a soundtrack was in the works? Since the producers of the CD want no-names, he recruits Phoebe. This, inadvertantly, gives her amazing direction, once her song is the first single from the album and goes to number one.

4) GUEST STARS. Introduce the Gellers to the Bings! How about Mr. Bing is played by two people--Nathan Lane and RuPaul?! Bring Kip on, as a guest at C&M's wedding!

5) TWISTS. Phoebe asks Kip to live with her (he's divorced now). C&M go to Hawaii for their honeymoon. Joey finds out that he's shooting on location down there, so he invites his friends to join him. What if Ross and Rachel accidentally got involved in a Polynesian wedding ceremony? Would they tell their friends that they've gotten married TWICE--neither time knowing what they were doing?

6) GROWTH. What if Chandler and Monica move? Into a house? How about if Phoebe became successful? What might happen if Joey got a REALLY big break? How would Ross handle Rachel's pregnancy?

The show has lots of life left in it...all the writers need to do is write about it!

If they pretend it's platonic for three quarters of a season, not admitting why they are living together (while it is obvious to the audience) this could work. Then the Big Realization comes up for February sweeps.

C&M decide, for their own benefit, not to live together. So

Great. Absolutely great.

And the show ends. Season seven should be the last, as long as they tie up all the strings.

No argument from me. It will never happen.

Very good idea - although, I think there would be more comic potential if it went to 39. Makes the top 40. Barely. She's a hit! She's a hit! Well, kinda...

Wonderful, ludicrous but wonderful, great.

Now we are into season eight. This is good stuff.

You are a clever and imaginative person with a lot of very fresh ideas. Yes. All this stuff would help. Wish they'd use it.

To tell you the truth, these episodes are being written by me and will be showing up on a fanfic site near you soon.

I don't know how long the show is to continue with my episodes, but I dare say it's beyond season seven. I think I have too many ideas to put them in 24 episodes.

Uh, no. No can do. He used to date Monica, do you have any idea how innappropriate it would be to invite her to her wedding? Let alone with his old roomate...

Not that I don't like the idea, but it just seems too Vegas-like to me. There'd always be people to complain about that.

Well, that would mean no Monica pregnancy, which I definitely want to see, so, I'll vote against that. No offense. Plus, Ross already has a kid.

Which is why the comic potential is so high. Better yet, what if Kip just *showed up* at the wedding announced, and hurt because he *didn't* get invited?

Well, if they are in love with each other when it happens, and the story is about them discussing whether or not they might as well give it a shot....

Ross, how come we always ending up marrying each other by accident?

Heh. I bet who gets a pregnancy will have more to do with the actresses than anything else.

This is sort of what I'm trying to convey. It's called "The One With The Mistake," and the "mistake" is that while the six are on a tour of the Hawaiian islands, Ross and Rachel argue and end up getting lost and separated. After pointless trudging around (Ross: "Rach, we should stay in one place so we don't get more lost." Rachel: "You're following me? I was trying to GET AWAY from you!"), they encounter a Polynesian ceremony. They get involved in it, and when it's over, the tour comes through. Rachel asks the tour guide what they were doing, and he explains that the ceremony was a wedding. Ross quickly says he's not about to have four failed marriages--TWO with the same woman. Rachel says she doesn't want two with the same man, either. They go on to talk about how much they love each other, then Rachel says that they can't tell the rest about it. Ross doesn't understand, and Rachel explains that it would be like telling them, "We've been married twice and both times we were just drunk and stupid." Ross tells her that this time, they weren't drunk. Rachel tells him that "being sober makes it even worse." So they agree to stay married, but they don't wanna tell their friends just yet.

Look at it this way, Helena:

Monica's getting married. Of course, her mother prints HUGE notices in the paper, maybe even rents out a billboard (like those happy birthday ones--"Congratulations On Getting Married, Monica Geller!"

Kip sees all this. Since his marriage has collapsed (some creative license), he decides to pay a visit to his friends Chandler and Monica for their wedding.

1) They're surprised to see him. 2) He's surprised to see how much things have changed. 3) It's awkward for Chandler because he thinks Monica's going to go back to him (even though she barely talks to him).

And it'll be a good storyline for Phoebe if Kip, divorced, moves in with her. She finds herself strangely attracted to him.

Why did Ross go bonkers over a sandwich?   Or say the wrong name with
the priest force-feeding him his lines?   To create a problem, Helena.
I didn't say he'd prevent the wedding just that he'd liven it up a bit.

Phoebe looses here job an cannot afford to live in the flat. she is forced to move in with Joey, leaving Rachel to have to live with Ross.. whcih means that Ross and Rachel have a way of getting abck together. or they get set up on blind dates.. but it ends up to be each other, or Ross is still in love with Rachel.. but hasn;t told her or anyone really.. realising it was over.. until he gets hold of her diary,. and finds she still loves him. oh by the way.. I'm not a R+R fan.. but they need closure for the end on this major storyline

Joey arranges such a wild bachelor party for chandler is late for his wedding monica thinks it's off and freaks out.. until he arrives finally. and they go on a cruise.. trying to get some time alone.. until Joey wins the lottery and brings everyone there to suprise them.. Ross and Rachel can only afford to share a cabin. (woo !) ....... then the ship is taken over by hijackers... and one of them turns out to be Mr Bing senior.. ok.. a little farfetched. * helena.. go back to your crazy fanfics.. *

one of my friends wanted Ross to go back in time to the age o the dinosaurs.. and by accident take Rachel with him. she is a bit wierd.. she likes deaths and fires and stuff, and she doesn't like Ross or Monica.. so I will have to "kick her ass" *lol*.

Okay, here's my crazy idea....

What if in the beginning of next season, Monica tells Chandler "I'm pregnant". He's excited and nervous and scared and happy all at the same time, but that's Chandler. This speeds up the wedding to the season finale as opposed to perhaps them planning the wedding to happen in a year and a half from now.

Season finale, Monica's putting on her wedding dress and 8 1/2 months pregnant. All of a sudden, she goes into labor. Chandler freaks and they all go to the hospital, dress and tux and all. Before the baby's born, they find the JP to marry them and they do just in time before little chandler Jr. comes popping out. And that's the end of that season. Or maybe series.

I have a slight problem with that one...

This seems like it's a bit overused. Plus, they wouldn't be able to move the date ahead because of the 2 year waiting list. They had a cancellation. The whole "get married before the baby is born" thing was somewhat used on "The Nanny" and it was rather ridiculous.

Also, it seems like the entire season would be about Chandler and Monica having a baby and getting married. Isn't getting married ENOUGH for TV's most boring couple in a season? I say throw in less abou them and more about the rest of the cast.

How was it overused on the Nanny? There was no storyline where they had to get married before the baby was born.

I am perhaps the queen of procrastination, I have go give in a project on wednesday that was due in.. *counts*... 3 weeks ago, heh. Still, it's not as bad as the geography project that was due in sometime in October, and I ended up giving it in in January, hah!

Oh, and good luck with your exams, whenever you may take them.. this time next week I'll be on exam study leave (whoo hoo!) and then eeeeeevil exams then freedom for 2 1/2 months, whoo hoo. I should get some revision done.. maybe I'll watch some episodes of The Simpsons first.. <g>

Last night my somewhat perverse mind pictured the following as a series finale (which season 7 might just be) with respect to the Ross and Rachel storyline.

I remind you that I am a diehard R&R fan.

Anywho, I just pictured some kind of scenario (nothing specific) along the lines of Sheryl Crow's "Difficult Kind", with Rachel the one left speaking these words:
