I thought this was an average episode. The main plot was enjoyable, but the other two were quite weak.

MLB and SS were wonderful together. They actually had chemistry (unlike Rachel and Tag). It was great to see DOOL again, and I hope we continue to see it. This was much better than the boring Rachel work stories that have been shoved down our throats this season.

The Ross/Monica/Chandler story was incredibly stupid and unoriginal (although the ending was funny). This was no different than seeing Ross play the keyboard in Season 4, or C&M not wanting Phoebe to play at the wedding in 701. But DS did do a good job though.

The Rachel/Phoebe story was a complete bore. I really didn't enjoy any of it.

The 20-minute special at the end was a pleasant treat. My favorite parts were MLB tripping, and JA smashing DS's hand.

As someone who has been pretty harsh on Friends these past couple seasons, i have to say that i REALLY enjoyed this episode. It was the best one in a WHILE!

i loved the two of them together. It was very funny.

I sort of agree with you there. The storyline was fairly stupid, but the part where ross played for the whole gang had me on the floor! I could not stop laughing. Even though it was the same as Ross' "sound" in season 4, i still liked it. And i liked again how phoebe was the only who liked it and sang along. When rachel jumped away, after ross started playing, that was good too. I especially enjoyed watching as the whole gang (especially jennifer) almost burst out laughing. Jennifer practically did. Watching people laugh is always enjoyable.

This episode continues the downward swing in the quality of the shows.

And that is a shame. However the outakes salvaged the hour. They were hysterical - I could not stop laughing. I want more !!!!

is it just me, or did rachel seem attracted to ross, when she told him she could imagine him in a skirt or something. She said it in a way that seemed like she was fantasizing about him. I think she licked her finger too. I understand it was obviously something he wore, but still, i got that impression. Did anyone else?

I thought the exact same thing but as an R & R fan, I can't be sure whether it was just wishful thinking or not!

I don't remember exactly what she said, but I remember thinking that it must have been something that happened when they were together. Like her Princess Leia thing, maybe he dressed in a skirt for her? She said something like "oh, I can see you in a skirt.." and he replied "oh, you wanna share secrets?" as if he would spill some juicy stuff that she did during their relationship. I probably heard wrong, but thats how I took what I picked up.

I took it as a reference to something that may have happened during their relationship. Ross apparently had worn a skirt before for Rachel. That's why he threatened to reveal stuff she had worn. Maybe I'm wrong? But it was definitely flirting, and a cute scene, indeed.

Also, did you notice Ross' concern at the beginning when Rachel started crying?

Ah, it's such a waste this terrific duo is rarely used anymore...

oh it definitely was in reference to something he did. But i still thought that she seemed very "interested." I thought maybe felt an attraction to him.

I don't think so, Bram. I figure, C&M will get married at the end of this season, so what will the writers write about for the eighth? R&R. How else could they end the series? They could have pushed back the engagement until this finale, but they obviously wanted to focus on something other than C&M for the final season.

I wish. Unfortunately, I think it's more likely that Season Eight will focus on a Mondler pregnancy than an R&R reunion.

Why do that to the show? I just think that it's more than likely that it will focus on R&R. Do you really think they'll make Monica pregnant if CCA isn't?

If R&R and C&J are the focus of next season, I will be in heaven.

I have no idea what will happen. But these last three seasons have focused predominately on C&M. What make you think Season Eight will be any different?

I agree. It was annoying, we've seen it all before. And Phoebe's being the only one to like it was jus tiresome and predictable. Although her singing along at the end was funny, as was the fact that even in the *final* take they decided to broadcast, Rachel looked like she was about to break out laughing. It was very silly.

Again, very standard and predictable behavior from them. Though I liked Phoebe's one-upping Rachel with that hand swing.
