916 -- bad acting?

I've just seen 916. Is it me or was the acting quite inferior? IMO the performances in that eppy were the worst I've ever seen from the entire cast. LOL. Granted, both Matt Leblanc and David Schwimmer plus a few of the ladies have both had scenes with sub-par (IMO) acting in the past but this is the first time I've seen the entire cast do so badly. LOL. And I agree with someone else that the opening scene was quite weak. LOL. OTOH, I watched a rerun today of S2 where Joey moves out and I thought that both Matthew Perry and Matt Leblanc were pretty good in it. (I know, I spend way too much time watching Friends. LOL) I think all six of them are wonderful actors. Too bad they all had an off day while taping 916. LOL.

I really have to agree with you. For the last 2 seasons I have the feeling that the actors just do it for the money and that they don�t act with passion. The first years were great. The actors really connected, everyone tried to do his/her best. The good acting of a person pushed the others to do it even better ( for me the climax was in season 5 with Chandler and Monica). But that is just what I think :-).

Jennifer Aniston was superb (IMO) in S8, but I agree that the rest of the cast have given uninspired performances for quite a long time now. Matthew Perry is quite expressive still, as is Aniston, but the rest of them are disappointing.

We-ell, the situations in Friends has always had me LOL or chuckling or snickering or whatever, and the delivery of the actors were excellent for the most part until recently, IMO. As for 917, isn't that the one with Paul Rudd back? I cringed watching that eppy even while LOLing at some parts. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Anyways, I will be watching out for a new eppy on April 3. The show sure is a stress reliever even now. LOL
