Tonight's ep was HILARIOUS!! From Pheebs' struggle with the smoke detector to Ross and Joey on the roof to Chandler and the Oprah book to Rachel and finally a wee bit humourous Tag, the ep was hilarious!! I laughed so hard!!!

I only laughed at Phoebe's storyline. As if Ross and/or Joey wouldn't have had a cell phone to call one of the others and that the others wouldn't have noticed that they didn't come down with them. And Monica and Chandler were just plain boring.

I thought the episode was okay.
I liked the Phoebe storyline best. Ross and Joey had some good bits (Hey, Toni, they played a mini-version of your balloon game!) and the Chandler/Monica story had its moments. I found the Rachel/Tag plot to be fairly predictable and the least funny.

I'm not a fan of the character Tag, so I liked everything without him. Phoebe is so funny! When FRIENDS ends, she should get a spin-off show called "Phoebe!". Ross was hilarious in this show too.

According to tvguide.com, Rachel wants to "consumate" her relationship with Tag. I didn't see that episode last week. Can anyone tell me if she's done that or not? (I'm a R&R fan, and I hope it didn't happen.)
I thought this episode was good. I only found Phoebe's and Ross/Joey's storyline the most entertaining and the funniest. Rachel/Tag's and Mondler's storyline were ok. To me this episode is similar to TOW Joey's Fridge, it really didn't have any character development.
Anyways, I noticed that a scene was missing that was reported from the spoiler, which was:
"Phoebe goes to her draws, and pulls out a skii hat/beanie, and some ear muffs and then she can't hear the beeping anymore. Phoebe has a song stuck in her head and it is revealed to the audience now that the beeping is gone. " Oh mickey youre so fine. Youre so fine you blow my mind hey mickey....HEY MICKEY!"
Maybe it'll end up on DVD here in the USA.
I hope TOW They All Turn Thirty will live up to the last two episodes.

Contrary to other expressed opinions here, I didn't find anything worthwhile in this episode at all. I didn't even chuckle once. It's plain here that even the best actors can't make a silk purse out of this sow's ear of a script.
I don't know why Ross bothers with these other folks. They obviously don't care about him enough to spend a couple hours watching for a comet -- which you'd be unlikely to be able to see from New York City anyhow, the ambient light being what it is -- or to even listen to anything he says which MIGHT be about something more worthwhile than the latest television show ... uhhh .... hmmmmm....

Once read a piece about how "Format" becomes "Forumula" (think it was written by David Gerrold). Can we note how many episodes of "Friends" these days depend on getting characters in sub-groups and then doing something completely absurd with them?
This was truly the worst episode of the whole season thus far. And hopefully not an indication of where the series is headed. The Joey and Ross stuck on the roof scenario was not funny at all nor original in the least. Phoebe's storyline - well, it works when she plays off of other actors - this was weak.
Lazy writing - the series is going to need more than great guest stars to keep good ratings - the actors are better than this.

can someone pkease explain chandler's glasses to me?? I saw the episode where they were introduced...but i dno't recall him saying that he can't see anything without them. He wears them in EVERY scene.! I don't understand. For 7 1/2 years his vision is fine, but then BOOM, BAM, WHOP!!(sorry for getting too BATMAN-ish) he needs glasses every waking moment? And did he change his teeth??

I guess every situation is different but it could be like my cousin. He had perfect vision until he reached 28 then suddenly he had to wear them all the time because he couldn't see far away. Or like me I didn't have to start wearing glasses until I was 14. I think they should have went into this a little instead of the way they did. I mean if someone I was close too had glasses I think that's something I would remember don't you? As for the teeth I don't know but I never pay much attention to his teeth :)
