I remember reading somewhere on here that the "I, Ross...take thee, Rachel..." fiasco did NOT occur in the first draft of "TOW Ross' Wedding." Would anyone like to share what was actually in the original draft?
I know it had something to do with Rachel actually being the bride...if I remember correctly...

Nope, nope and nope. I've seen the table draft, and while there's a lot of stuff in there that wasn't in the final cut and vice-versa, "I take thee Rachel" most certainly WAS in there, and anything about Rachel actually being the bride definitely WASN'T.

Yup. I've not read it for ages, but I know that stuff's pretty much on the money.
But wasn't it something about Elliott Gould telling the end on some talk show that forced them to change the end? (I haven't read the book for a while.)

Yes, Elliot Gould spoiled the ending of the finale on Regis and Kathie Lee, but luckily, Matt LeBlanc was scheduled for Regis the very next day. So when MLB was on, he was told to say they shot multiple endings so that the finale wouldn't be spoiled after all.

Also, (don't know if this is old news but) there is a double Video CD available that features the whole London Wedding (Parts 1 - 3) as a whole 'movie', complete with scenes edited out from the version shown on TV, with 2 special extras - an interview with the cast about filming in London and the music video of the friends theme song.Comes in a cool tin box too...it is available elsewhere? Got my copy a few months ago in Singapore.

Again, I've not seen the British documentary, so I can't tell. It was not a very long 'documentary' - they interviewed the cast, including the guest stars, all of whom described the plot a little, and there was an interview with Lisa Kudrow where she says she's glad she didn't have to fly...
