As the mother of a borderline-autistic 4 year old boy who struggles daily just to make himself understood, I found your comments about the child actor playing Ben to be rude, insensitive, and about as out-of-line as you can possibly get. Making rude comments about the regular cast members is bad enough, but attacking a child is completely uncalled for. Keep that kind of criticism to yourself.

i think you're confusing me with someone meaner. I didn't say anything rude about ben! I just said i thought the stuff with Ross and his son was depressing, and not very funny. I have no problems with the kid himself, but i think this week's writing was pretty weak.

I think its important not to start new threads to take issue with others, escpecially if you're not willing to point people towards it. I for one have no idea which thread you're talking about. You deleting it from your computer isn't going to make one bit of difference to anyone elses copy of the thread, so it would have been far easier to sympathise with you if you'd responded within the thread, where the context would have been intact.
