All Shows Go Through A Slump

Ok, so season 6 wasn't great, but remember, all shows when they get older go through some sort of slump. Take Seinfield for example, it went through a season where the writing just wasn't there and it came back strong in the end. I'm sure FRIENDS will do the same thing.

That could be true if last night & most of the previous months weren't some of the BEST episodes of Friends I've seen!

There ya go optomisim(can't spell it). Season 6 wasn't that bad!!

I sat there asking myself "So Richard was on a date and saw Monica with her boyfriend of two years. Even though he hasn't seen her in a year, he basically proposed to her the next day in her restaurant. In doing so, he changed his mind about the one thing that was so crucial it caused them to break up-having a family. Chandler goes to unreal lengths to make Monica think he wants no part of marriage even though he's fully aware of how important that is to her. Monica then seriously contemplates marrying Richard. She decides not to and later the same evening, decides to marry Chandler." CONTRIVED, CONTRIVED, CONTRIVED.

With that said, the episode served its purpose well. It was a nice episode.

But I LOVE Friends repeats.... I get to see 3 or 4 episodes a day & they're all good because people grow & people change & you stick with them.... same with a TV show full of "Friends"

Spoiler Space for Finale

Okay, this is the bottom line, seeing as after all our complaints you STILL don't understand why we're so angry at you all. If you don't stop with this Spoiler police business RIGHT NOW, I'm going to killfile all involved in the Spoiler Police, and I'm going to recommend that anyone else who's as annoyed with this as I am does the same. And I am deadly serious about this. I absolutely resent being told what is and isn't acceptable to post, and I resent others being told the same, when there was NOTHING WRONG WITH THE ORIGINAL POST IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! Seriously, if I don't, you are all going to push me to the point of joining the "trolls". So, would you all please just STOP IT RIGHT BLOODY NOW!!!!!

OMG Tina! There was a huge spoiler in there about the Finale! I was just nicely very nicely notifying people that there was a spoiler in there. A huge one! I didnt say anything but I just inserted space. You know, I thought THAT was fine! FIne Fine, I was doing this for others, But I'll quit it if it means THAT much to you GEEEE WIIIIZZZ. I let a bunch of other posts go today saying that it wasnt that big of a spoiler ect. ect. I didnt say anything except spoiler Alert. I didnt say Police even! I just said Spoiler Space for finale. That's it! God why do you have such a problemwith that! IT was a major plot spoiler, in a thread that didnt have any other spoilers in it, except for one person which inserted space. I was thinking that many UK personas would be reading this thread with having no attenchine of reading spoilers. Ok I THOUGHT I was helping, I thought that it wasn't that big of a deal but to just ignore the posts if you dont mind being spoiled and you saw a spoiler alert post. The trolls have died down I stopped replying to them. I didnt think ANYONE would have thought bad of this alert. I have heard the complaints and taken EACH ONE into CAREFUL consideration. I have taken EVERY suggestion in. I didn't say that it was UNACCPETABLE TO post. I meerly ADDED space, or alerted others that there was a spoiler in it! I did not say that you should not have posted that who ever did it doesnt matter. I dont even care if they did or not. my Post was like Adding space to that post. It was meerly an ALERT that there was a spoiler in it. hell you could post a million posts with spoilers in it and I wouldnt mind just that it would be a pain to do all the spoiler alerts. But at least it would warn people that that was a spoiler. I am not "pulling you over" thats why I dotn like the Spoiler Police name that we have and would love to THROW IT OUT THE WINDOW. Becuse it seems to be giving people the idea that we are trying to boss people around or something. THAT'S NOT WHAT IM DOING!! Like I said, post as many things as you want as spoilers and I won't get mad. NOT AT ALL. I wont say anything except alert the people that don't want to view spoilers that there are spoilers in there. THAT'S IT! I am not trying to stop spoilers! Heck I know that was the official motto and that's why people are SOO confused. But I NO LONGER think that at ALL!! These are ALERTS, take it as it is, an alert. Would you get all bent out of shape if someone came up to you and said there was a patch of ice on the road and to avoid it. Heck if you wanted to go ice skating than ignore it. But if you were driving down there than avoid it! GET IT?

I'm sorry for being like this but I just had to get this out and make people understand. I know exactly what you are going to say to some of this. But PLEASE just think about it. I would like to talk to all the other Spoiler Cops and tell them the SAME thing. This is how I feel about this situation. I want to alert people that don't want to be spoiled from getting spoiled by accident.

AFter reading all this if you STILL, are DEAD against this, or don't have ANY suggestions in making this seem like we are not trying to be boss's of ANYONE. Than BY all means if 3 or more agree, than fine I'll stop! Ok? Ok? ok? BUt if you have ANY suggestions then tell me.

I know that a lot of people are p***** off at some of us, but please remember, that we were trying to help people on this ng, people who hadn't seen the finale and didn't know what was going to happen. I believe we did, although I don't think I helped that many people by putting up spoiler spaces because I've been so busy studying for my final exams that I haven't had the time to be online.

I'm sorry if you guys hate us now, but I still hope that we can be able to put this bickering behind us. Remember, we're here to discuss a TV-show, it's not World War III (although it seemed like it had already started at one point)!!!!

I agree. This is the most inconsistent season yet. I wasn't all that pleased with the Bruce Willis arc (the actress who played Elizabeth was better in Once and Again). And Chandler was less funny.

But, by George, it wasn't THAT bad! A show that yielded, at least for me, three classics (Last Night, Drug Smoked Pot, That Could've Been) is alright by me.

I stand strong--it's better than any sitcom on television that I watch (Will and Grace is hampered by their boring lead characters, Sports Night is hampered by overwriting, preachyness, and a suddenly ditzy female lead, Ally has gone overboard with the fantasies, Frasier bores me, and Sex and the City is hampered by Sarah Jessica Parker's annoying connection to Mr. Big).

I don't watch The Simpsons or Everybody Loves Raymond. If you go to the Simpsons NG, apparently it sucks like Just Shoot Me. What do people think of Everybody Loves Raymond?

I unsubscribed for a few days, but this NG, no matter how much it can infuriate me, just forces me back (I guess kinda like the show, no?).
